We acknowledge the mixture of excitement and joy behind today’s announcement, and we are sure that you must have many, many important questions… Well, you can trust that we will not leave them unanswered! This is why we have collected a set of basic questions that we answer in the form of Early Access Q&A.
The answer to the first and most important of them can be found in the title of this post, but we think we should repeat it clear and out loud: Builders of Greece Early Access is coming on 27 Feb 2024! All right, now that we have your curiosity and attention, let’s dive into the Q&A! 🤓

1. Why did you choose to publish on Early Access?
Acknowledging the enthusiastic response of players towards Builders of Greece, we want to invite all the interested players to actively contribute to the development of our game, while offering them a substantial glimpse into the rich experience awaiting them in the full version.
Based on our experience, we firmly believe that providing players with the direct opportunity to play the title remains the optimal approach to gather valuable feedback and deepen our interactions, which would not have been possible without launching the Early Access version of the game. Making a long story short – we want to constantly improve our title, without taking away your ability to play it. We consider it a win-win situation!
2. When do you plan to publish the full version of the game?
Our target timeframe falls within about 6 to 12 months, although we are committed to exerting maximum effort to release the full version of Builders of Greece as soon as possible. We will do our best to make sure you don’t have to wait long!
3. What are the differences between Early Access and the full version of the game?
In its initial stages, the Early Access version will not offer the full range of mechanics and features that will appear in the full version of the game, however with subsequent patches and Early Access development, Builders of Greece will be enriched with additions such as the weather system, new Campaign Mode missions, expansion of player’s City to neighbouring islands, Gods/Faith system, new buildings and military units, even more useful tools, extended technology tree and more! Your feedback and suggestions on how to improve Builders of Greece are of utmost importance to us, and we’re eagerly awaiting them all!
4. What's the Early Access content?
The Early Access version offers the main Campaign Mode and the Sandbox Mode. The first of them will be a narrative scenario that immerses players in the amazing world of Ancient Greece, providing them with an epic adventure full of varied missions, fateful choices, bloody clashes and smart planning, while the latter will allow players to build their own city without any instructions or specific missions.
Our main goal is to frequently patch and enrich the game with new content, of course in accordance with players’ feedback. According to our plans, such patches will be implemented approximately every three to four weeks. Ultimately, the Early Access version will feature all the main systems and mechanics we planned for the full release, but initially they will not be fully developed and will evolve gradually over time.
5. How much will it cost? Will I be able to play the full game after its release?
Yes! Purchasing the Early Access version will give you access to the full version of the game in the future. As a token of appreciation for players who contribute to advancing and refining our game, we assure that the Early Access version will be priced lower than the complete edition. The Early Access price is still to be announced.
6. How can I help you develop the game?
Our community has already proven many times how enthusiastic and energetic it is in helping us develop our title. We believe that thanks to the Early Access version, our player base will increase by thousands of people from all over the world, and as a result, we will receive another portion of very important feedback.
Players can share their feelings about Builders of Greece via Steam Discussions, our very vivid Discord server, and through numerous Social Media channels. Moreover, previous experiences have demonstrated the effectiveness of dedicated Feedback Forms, which our testers enthusiastically complete. Our intention is to continue this practice.
