The following entry describing the town of Krinbridge is just the beginning of an extensive series thanks to which you will get to know the most important places you will visit while traveling the in-game world. Together we will visit snow-capped mountain peaks, forgotten dungeons, crowded villages, foggy swamps, dense forests, and much, much more! Are you ready for the foretaste? 😀 Sure you are! Let’s take a look at the city of Krinbridge…

Welcome to Krinbridge

Krinbridge is a settlement of the nation known as Lifmen. A distinctive feature of the city is that it is crossed by the river Dreyria. The settlement is thus divided into two districts – southern and northern – which are connected by a large, solid bridge made of wood and stone. The bridge was built over the years at the river’s narrowest point and is a true icon of the city.

Speaking of the river, Krinbridge is the first outpost to be established partly on the other side of Dreyria and the idea behind choosing this place was to carry out a reconnaissance of new lands beyond its other shore. 💦 The settlement is therefore an excellent source of valuable materials and endless possibilities.

Krinbridge is inhabited by just over a hundred people, which makes it one of the smaller cities in the world of Gimle, however its dynamic development means that new residents are flowing in very quickly. It was created in times of the great famine, when people migrated south in search of Yggdrasil’s pieces, food, and new terrains to settle.

The city’s rapid development is evidenced by the presence of many important workshops and institutions such as the market square, river port, warehouse, lumber mill, armorer, blacksmith, and even an inn. Any adventurer can easily replenish their supplies here, repair their equipment, or simply rest before taking up the next quest. 🛏️ It is worth noting that the settlement is located in the same province as Lifborg, the capital of the Lifmen nation.

The people

Lifmen are proud and careful people, but anyone who gains their trust can count on their kindness and support. The residents of Krinbridge may prove to be a valuable source of information – remember to take a moment to talk to them while visiting the city. The population is quite diverse and craves all kinds of workers and craftsmen. It is said that any honest, hardworking person can live a happy life here… but woe to you if you are a fraud or a thief! The people of Krinbridge will soon see right through you.

Currently, the village is mainly inhabited by scouts, hunters, and fishermen, however, with the influx of new residents, this situation is changing. Kilnbridge is the most dynamically developing settlement of Lifmen. Interestingly, it mainly attracts young people who are looking for their chance to gain fortune, wealth, or want to experience the thrill of adventure.

In the very center of the city, just next to the bridge, you will find the Headman’s house. It is he who makes the most important decisions regarding the further fate of the settlement. His estate is the largest building in the area and stands out from the rest of the houses, which are rather modest and mainly made of wood. To ensure the safety of its inhabitants, Kilnbridge is surrounded by a palisade topped with two gates – the northern and the southern one.

When you approach them, you can expect a few questions from the cautious guards. If you earn their trust, the whole Krinbridge will be open for you to explore. 🗺️

Soon we will come back to you with more descriptions of the amazing creatures inhabiting the world of Gimle. You will learn what they are, what they look like and how to fight them! Be sure to follow our Social Media channels and join the Discord server to stay tuned. Until next time!
