We have achieved several milestones, which, despite the fact that they were a huge challenge, gave us great satisfaction and joy. On the occasion of these great events, you have once again proved what a wonderful community you are! Your continued support, enthusiasm and help are simply invaluable… but we’ll talk more about that a bit later
And now – let’s get to the point, shall we? As always, we’ll start with the gloomy world of Gimle.
The most important mechanics of Gimle are created as we speak
Builders of Greece
Oh boy, do we have some cool news for you! There have been so many changes and great events in Builders of Greece that we don’t know where to start So let us start from the beginning.
First of all, we managed to create and present to the world the first Gameplay Trailer of the game. In addition to that, our dear players had the opportunity to play the role of testers and try out not one, but two pre-release versions of the game! And you know what? They did just great! The quantity and quality of the received feedback overwhelmed us. But let’s go back to our Demo Launch Gameplay Trailer for a moment and admire the beauty of Greek landscapes and cities you can bring to life Here it is!
There was a lot going on! Let's talk about the Playtest and Demo versions!
But the news doesn’t end with Playtest! Currently, Builders of Greece is taking part in Steam Next Fest, which means you have the opportunity to play the Demo version of the game. This is a great opportunity to prove yourself as an ancient ruler and share your priceless feedback with our team We are watching your actions in the Demo with bated breath and try to answer your questions and suggestions on an ongoing basis. Will you like the Demo as much as you liked the Playtest? Time will tell…
New building blocks in your city
They say the devil is in the details. And we completely agree! Just see how full of such details, colors, and textures the walls that will soon be able to decorate your Theater are. The most important and iconic buildings of your Polis require special treatment. That is why their walls, roofs, floors, and decorations are carefully polished and refined by our graphic designers.
We are currently working on many other materials and textures that will appear in your magnificent Polis. Thanks to them, each city will be able to boast of beautiful colors and art. That will surely please the eyes of both the rulers and their subjects!
If you want to share your thoughts and opinions on the graphics novelties, be sure to visit our Discord server or Steam Discussions. We always love to hear your feedback, so please don’t hesitate to speak up!
Defend your Polis!
PRE-RELEASE VERSIONS SPOILER ALERT! 🤫 If you’ve already played the early versions of Builders of Greece, you know how important the military aspect is. Other rulers are just waiting to destroy your empire and weaken your reigns. Fortunately, brave soldiers can stand up for your Polis and defend it with their lives. Wise army management is one of the most important elements of managing your realm.
Our artists have been working on another unit that can protect your faithful subjects from foreign influences and threats. Meet the Peltast – brave warriors who, thanks to their courage and training, can turn the tide of battle Peltast is of course just one of the many units you can send into warfare action. Composing a well-balanced army, choosing a right amount of ranged and melee units, or uderstanding the quantity and quality of troops is a key to victory.
