May the gods look upon you with favor, everyone 🤩 The Viking Frontiers Steam Playtest has just kicked off, and this means that the very first, extremely exciting moment of your initial contact with our newest title has finally arrived!
We hope you are all ready to explore hostile Nordic lands, full of forests, cliffs, valleys and breathtaking coastlines. In a brief moment you will have a chance to grab your axes, hammers, spears, sickles and other useful tools ⚒️ that will help you and your tribesmen survive in this uncharted, wild realm and prove your worth as a leader. The hype is on!
🤓 NOTE: Please keep in mind that this is only an early, “work-in-progress” version of the game, the main goal of which is to present the overall concept of this project. Remember, that at this stage you may encounter some bugs and problems, as the title is still in development. Viking Frontiers is sure to receive numerous patches, most of them based on your feedback. The Viking Frontiers Playtest is based on a simple, yet engaging scenario which will guide you through the basic rules of the game, such as systems of exploration, collecting raw materials, constructing building, production of goods and interaction with NPCs, and surely immerse you in the amazing Nordic vibe. We simply can’t wait to see how you will do in the role of a bold, resourceful Jarl, and how will you interact with the various mechanics of the in-game world.
It’s worth mentioning that the full version of the game will be much richer in content, numerous features, events and activities that the player can undertake. The Playtest is only a small part of what awaits us in the future, however we believe it will give you an understanding of what Viking Frontiers is all about.

Although launching Playtest is undoubtedly a very important milestone in the entire process of creating our game, let’s not forget that this is a very, very early version of this title 
That is why we are very much looking forward to your feedback, opinions and suggestions! Thanks to them, we will learn more about your point of view and expectations, and thus further enhance the Viking Frontiers experience.
